A good and honest Mashed Potatoes recipe. It doesn't have to be fancy or smooth, but it has to be tasty!
You can cut the potatoes into smaller cubes to make cooking easier.
Ingredients

800gMilk
150mlButter
50gNutmeg
½tspBlack Pepper
to tasteSalt
to tasteWater
to cook
Mashed Potatoes

Peel 800g of potatoes
Cover the potatoes with water, add salt to taste and cook for 45m until fork tender
Carefully mash the drained potatoes with a fork
Add 150ml of water and 50g of butter to a saucepan
Add salt to taste and mix
Add ½tsp of nutmeg and mix
Add the mashed potatoes to a pan
Add the milk and butter. Stir with a spatula until well combined and velvety
Adjust seasoning if necessary. The mashed potatoes are ready
